The cut

I recently had an epiphany and decided to cut my hair off for the summer. I stopped getting chemical relaxers several years ago, so when I wanted to wear my hair straightened I would get it flat ironed. The extreme heat or the products my beautician used eventually took a toll on my hair and caused major breakage. My once very thick head of hair was replaced with flyaway uneven tresses.

With that being said, I am planning to dig in and test out new haircare products on my natural hair as well as on my daughters relaxed hair.

In the past few days I have tried out a load of products already!

A few of the products I will be reviewing are: FX special effect Silk Milk, Kinky Curly Curling Custard, and a few Paul Mitchell products.

Kids vs The iPhone

I have a 2G iPhone and I have already preordered the new iPhone 3GS. My daughter has expressed her desire to own one herself. Apple has made attaining the device so much easier since they are continuously dropping the price.

How old should a child be in order to own an iPhone.

Although technically a teenager, I honestly don't think my daughter is mature enough to handle the responsibility that comes along with owning the device. Apple and AT&T do not offer a protection plan for the devices. They really should rethink their position on this, but that is for another post on another day.

Nic Sticks

I tried out a new nail polish this weekend. It was very convenient to use, but I did find the polish chipped way too easily. This could have been caused by my haphazard use of the product. I will try it out again this week to see if I actually like it.

If you are interested in trying it out for yourself, here is a coupon:

What color are you?

I am trying out a new polish, and I am trying to find the right shade specifically for me. I went to their website, and it lets you try out several different colors virtually. I thought the concept was pretty darn neat, but will the end result look ANYTHING like the example shown... Anyway, if you are interested in trying it out the link is here.

March for Babies

Clinton wins PA

Clinton won PA by 55% today. This primary has me weary. The entire process is unnecessarily draining for candidates AND voters. I don't know if this year's election will end well for anyone. The Democratic party is currently in disarray, all while McCain is sitting pretty and biding his time and restocking his arsenal for the REAL election.

Question of the day: Why is Ron Paul still on the Republican ballot?!?!?!?

Zoombak

I will be reviewing a product soon that is a GPS tracker specifically designed to locate your car, pet or loved ones. I have always thought this was a good idea, but I always envisioned a tracker embedded in a piece of jewelry(watch, necklace, bracelet, etc.) or hidden in a shoe for children.

I will complete a thorough review as soon as I get a chance to test drive, until then visit the official website here.

Trust

I don't give it away freely. If you are lucky enough to gain this gift, please don't take it for granted. Nothing hurts more than letting your guard down and trusting someone and in return they turn out to be nothing more than a liar, cheater or deceiver. I know that I should not put ALL my trust in MAN because I will always be disappointed.
